The Nathaniel Dett Chorale Voices of The Diaspora...Let My People Go
In a fitting tribute to Black History Month, The Nathaniel Dett Chorale, Canada's first professional choral group dedicated to Afrocentric music of all styles, is proud to present Voices of the Diaspora...Let My People Go - for one night only on Friday, February 23 at 8PM in the George Weston Recital Hall, Toronto Centre for the Arts, 5040 Yonge Street.
Highlights of the concert include R. Nathaniel Dett's history-making oratorio The Ordering of Moses, as well as the world premiere of the second installment of the God's Trombones cycle, Let My People Go by the talented young Canadian composer and pianist, Stewart Goodyear, as well as some beautiful shorter pieces.
