HOT OFF THE PRESS:
WANNA KNOW THE TITLE OF THE NEW KORN ALBUM? IT’S UNTITLED!

KORN’S EIGHTH STUDIO ALBUM SET FOR RELEASE ON JULY 31, 2007 FAMILY VALUES TOUR STOPS IN TORONTO ON JULY 24

On July 31st, Virgin Records will release the eighth studio album from the multi-platinum, award-winning hard rock band KORN. The untitled album was produced by Korn’s See You On The Other Side producer Atticus Ross (Ross is also known for his revolutionary work with NIN). In releasing an album with no title singer Jonathan Davis commented, "We didn't want to label this album. It has no boundaries; it has no limits and why not just let our fans call it whatever they wanna call it?"

This is the 4th album (the second studio) to be released through the ground-breaking partnership among Korn and Virgin Records established in 2005 by EMI, and the Firm to create a diversified business relationship operating Korn's recording, publishing, touring, sponsorship and merchandising businesses. In 2006, tour promotion giant Live Nation, which promotes the Family Values tour, became an investor in the partnership.

Los Angeles modern rock radio station KROQ recently gave “Evolution,” the album’s first single, its world premiere and the band gave its 550,000+ friends on myspace the opportunity to hear it for themselves (www.myspace.com/korn). The “Evolution” LIVE debut took place at this year’s KROQ Weenie Roast –y- Fiesta (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcDrU2BYKlA ). On the topic of the new single, Jonathan Davis said, “Evolution is about us as a human race. We have not evolved since monkeys. Animals and humans are pretty much the same.” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTTr1vbs5jU ) “Look at this war we’re fighting; we’re the bullies – same shit in the monkey world.” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXJTC3iZDrM&mode=related&search= ). To hear and see the behind the scenes making of “Evolution”, fans can log onto www.korn.com .

This album follows the band’s ground breaking MTV Unplugged: KORN release, which debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 in March 2007. The band appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and brought more musicians than the show had ever seen on their stage; 25 to be exact which included a taiko drum troupe (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTND9ODe1h0 ).

KORN will return to North America in time for this year’s FAMILY VALUES TOUR, which launches on July 20th in St. Louis, MO, and stops in Toronto on July 24th. (KORN, along with management company The Firm created and headlined THE FAMILY VALUES TOUR in 1998 and last year’s triumphant return outing was an extraordinary success, setting attendance records at numerous venues and selling over 400,000 tickets total. KORN and EVANESCENCE will co-headline this year’s festival, which also features Atreyu, Flyleaf, HELL YEAH (featuring members of Pantera and Mudvayne), and Trivium on the main stage. Tickets for most dates are on sale now at www.ticketmaster.com and dates are listed at www.korn.com. With David Silveria on hiatus, Slipknot’s Joey Jordison will be playing drums for KORN on the tour; Terry Bozzio played drums on Untitled.

The full track listing for Korn's new album will be announced at a later date
